A Cloudy day, a Sneak peek and Steak n' Shake

We were out driving today and saw some beautiful puffy clouds. I was not driving and happened to have my camera handy so i snapped some photos. They were so pretty! The pictures don't show all of the details of their beauty.... then they were gone....

I joined a bag/bucket swap. It has been stressful trying to figure out the perfect bag to make. I finally decide after agonizing over it. I was afraid i would make something stupid and my secret partner wouldn't like it. It is still a secret, so i can only show a sneak peek of the beginning of my creation. :o)
Today we celebrated dh's new job. The kids wanted to go out for a special dinner to celebrate. The choices were The Outback, Hoggy's, Applebee's Ruby Tuesday's or Steak n' Shake. Since there are 7 of us, we decided on Steak n' Shake. Dh promised me a dinner date to one of the other resturants, just him and I. :o)

Love the cloud pics. Debbie please don't stress over the swap. Your little preview is gorgeous. I have to ask, did you do that all by hand? Just beautiful.

Linda,
I always doubt myself. I didn't have a plan and couldn't fine the perfect pattern! Once i jumped in, it seems to be coming along nicely. One day i need to figure out how to get the images out of my head and onto fabric. lol
My embroidery is done on my machine. I don't have the patience for hand embroidery...or i don't think i do...lol

Oh Debbie,

I am no expert but hey, just the thought that someone put the time and effort into making something for someone that they probably have never met is amazing,I love making items for other people but I really try not to fussy over it to much, and feel if I'm happy with it then I hope my swap partner appreciates it..your sneak peek looks lovely well done...
cheers Vickie
